1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

Data you provide. When you submit the tour request form or contact us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, phone number and, if you choose to share it, your child’s age group.

Data collected automatically. When you use the site, we and our service providers may collect technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and identifiers stored in cookies.

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website.

3. Why we process it

to respond to your enquiry and arrange your private tour of the school;
to communicate with you by phone or WhatsApp about your enquiry;
to understand how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising;
to keep the site secure and to comply with applicable law.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (when you submit the form or accept marketing cookies), our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site, and our legal obligations. Processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection laws of the United Arab Emirates (including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

5. Cookies and analytics

The site uses two kinds of cookies: essential (required for the site to work, always on) and marketing (Meta Pixel, used to measure advertising). Marketing cookies are set only after you press ‘Accept’ on the cookie banner. If you choose ‘Essential only’, no marketing tags are loaded. You can change your choice by clearing your browser data for this site.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run this site and handle enquiries: website hosting, spreadsheet and messaging tools used by our admissions team, and Meta Platforms for advertising measurement (where you have consented to marketing cookies). These providers process data on our instructions. Some of them are located outside the UAE; in such cases we rely on safeguards recognised by applicable law. We may also disclose data where required by law or a competent authority.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 3 years from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law or you become an enrolled family. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the relevant provider’s policy.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to handle your request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the risk.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@bcacad.org. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law.

10. Children

This website is intended for parents and guardians aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website; information about a child’s age group is provided by the parent or guardian for admissions purposes only.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update.
